Champions League: Stand-in Man United skipper Pogba limps off

Manchester United's French midfielder Paul Pogba reacts following a challenge during the UEFA Champions League Group A football match between Manchester United and Basel at Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba’s first game as Manchester United captain lasted just 18 minutes as he was forced off by an apparent hamstring injury in Tuesday’s Champions League opener against Basel.
With Antonio Valencia dropping to the bench, Pogba inherited the captain’s armband at Old Trafford, but he had to limp off after abruptly pulling up and clutching the back of his left leg.
Marouane Fellaini, fit again after a calf injury, came on in Pogba’s place and the France midfielder showed his frustration by tossing the armband aside as he hobbled down the touchline towards the tunnel.
The score was 0-0 at the time in the Group A fixture.
