Leader of Indigenious People of
Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is ready to suspend the agitation for a Biafra
republic if progress is made in restructuring Nigeria, eminent lawyer, Prof.
Ben Nwabueze has said.
Nwabueze said this during a press
conference by Southern Leaders of Thought, on Thursday, August 24, held at
Chief Rotimi Williams Chambers, Ilupeju, Lagos State.

Nwabueze, who is the leader of the
group, warned that president Muhammadu Buhari would be looking for trouble if
he tries to usurp the constituent powers of the people.
According to him, the power to
restructure belongs to the people, not the National Assembly as is presently
constituted.
